Founded by international Sommelier, Lindsay Trivers, and based in Dubai, The Tasting Class provides fun and interactive classes for lovers of wine and beer. As well as blind tasting events, guided food and drink tours and specialist training for hotels, bars and restaurants, the Tasting Class is also the only provider of the specialist WSET qualification in the UAE – the global standard for wine education.
Keen on establishing themselves as the go-to company for wine knowledge and expertise in the region, The Tasting Class wanted to express their ideas and passion through a quirky and entertaining blog that was packed full of personality, and which could appeal to both industry professionals and the public alike.
Drawing on Lindsay’s own specialist knowledge, combined with my own work across the F&B sector, I researched and developed an ongoing series of blog articles, tackling subjects from wine trends to craft beer, and the best locations to enjoy them all across the UAE and beyond, all told in a quirky and memorable way.
Result
Since starting work with the Tasting Class, I have helped them to dominate Google’s search rankings in the region, gaining twenty number one positions for the most relevant search terms, and a further forty top ten results.
These ghost-written articles have proved so popular that the Tasting Class now provides them to some of the most popular food, drink and community blogs across the UAE, boosting their reputation even further.
